Question 1
If an organisation is part of a consortium th
at wins a contract to form a European Topic
Centre, is it still able to apply for grants from
other EU funding lines (fo
r example LIFE+) - or
does it become ineligible for such grants?
Answer 1
An EEA grant to a consortium does not exclude that the same consortium/ (a) partner(s)
thereof receive(s) grants from other sources.
However, other grant schemes including the LIFE+ Regulation No. (EC) 614/2007 which is
managed by the European Commission (DG Environment) may contain certain restrictions.
Please refer to the relevant competent authority in
order to identify potential incompatibilities.
