Cardiff Summit

Term

The Cardiff Summit (15 and 16 June 1998) laid the foundation for coordinated Community action to integrate environmental concerns into EU policies. At the same summit the European Council invited the Transport, Energy and Agriculture Councils to define strategies of their own on this point.
